The Byford Dolphin Project was docked in Harland & Wolff for an in-service inspection and a repair and upgrade workscope.

- Weld repairs on K Nodes and columns
- Main Deck thicknesses
- Sponson structural repairs
- DG Upgrades
- Thruster upgrades
- Electrical upgrades
- Accommodation and lifesaving upgrades
- Pipework mods to HP and LP systems
The vessel was docked for 36 days and was then undocked to the quayside.
At the quayside an additional workscope to undertake a Structural Inspection and Maintenance Programme (SIMP) and repairs was requested and the unit remained at the quay until early February 2005.
