Managing all commercial aspects of pre-tender and contract award activities, Matt Smith is our Group Commercial Director for Renewables and Energy based at Harland & Wolff (Methil).

Prior to joining the team, Matt spent over eight years in commercial leadership. Working within a fabrication firm and a multinational consultancy, engineering and project management company, as well as US-based international technical professional services firm.

Since joining the team in Methil, Matt has worked on a range of projects which have included, the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm, the Solan Project for Premier Oil as well as BP’s Clair Ridge Flare Boom. More recently, Matt has played a key role in securing the Neart Na Gaoithe Offshore Wind Farm – WTG Jackets project.
