With four sites working across the UK, including two of the world’s most renowned shipyards; the new Harland & Wolff is perfectly positioned to support the needs of the fishing, aquaculture, and seafood sectors.

Working in tandem, our Belfast and Appledore shipyards offer great capacity and capability with two of the largest drydocks in Europe, including a 119m long covered drydock – capable of handling concurrent projects of varying size with ease.

Our experienced team can provide all levels of support from initial consultancy through to detailed engineering and fabrications incorporating new build vessels, platforms, modifications, ship repair, and dry dockings for vessels 10m to 150m+.

With two dedicated build locations and the option to utilise two further fabrication facilities, Harland & Wolff offer the ability to deliver vessels to market on time, on budget, and to the high standards expected by our clients.

We work with all of our clients to keep them engaged and informed all the way from enquiry to hand over, tailoring all aspects of a new build vessel to meet specific needs; all whilst providing input from both our vast technical know-how and in-sector expertise.

Our extensive new build facilities in Belfast and Appledore allow for the building of all types of steel hull fishing and aquaculture vessels including: neophrops, crabbers, freezer trawlers and deep water pelagic trawlers.
