After four months in our historic Belfast dry-dock, last week we bid farewell to the Margaritaville at Sea Islander cruise ship following her successful sea-trials on the Irish Sea.
Throughout her time with us the ship underwent a full exterior repaint and re-design carried out by Harland & Wolff’s highly skilled trades people. We also created and developed a framework for the ship’s LED screen systems and laid the foundations for the vessels sports courts.
We facilitated the sizeable amount of sub-contracting work that was carried out on the ship, with the vessel’s 1,100 cabins completely refurbished.
Belfast remains a hive of cruise and ferry activity with the recent arrival of the Villa Vie Residences cruise ship, and we look forward to welcoming more partners from across the industry into our world-famous facilities in the future.
