Today, the Belfast yard celebrated Robert Mahood’s retirement after over 50 years of service for Harland & Wolff.

Robert started his career in Harland & Wolff’s iconic Belfast shipyard as an Apprentice Rigger and worked his way up to Dockmaster. During his time with the company, he has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects. In particular, he has enjoyed working on new builds and helping to maintain the iconic cranes – Samson and Goliath.

Stevie Wright (Belfast’s General Manager), Kelly O’Rourke (Group Director of HR) Ian Harris (Senior Operations Manager) and Chris McNally (Facilities Manager) presented Robert with a retirement gift.
