Lead site commercial team and co-ordinate all commercial and  related business activities effectively, ranging across Cost Control, Estimating / Tender vetting & approval, Modelling & Management of H&W pricing, Mergers & Acquisitions / Due Diligence, JV / Partner / contract management, ensuring that H&W’s business objectives are met whilst maintaining the required commercial governance.

Key Duties

  • Ensure all necessary commercial documentation and governance requirements are developed, submitted and compliant to support bid submissions, contract negotiations and project execution.
  • Establish, develop and grow a multi-faceted Commercial team capable of managing multiple priorities across H&W target markets
  • Identify collaborative opportunities which support competency development, growth potential and capability development
  • Drive and coordinate the activities of a multi-faceted team within the wider business ensuring technical support, input and decisions are integral to bid reviews, bid compliance, bid submission and lessons learned areas
  • Manage the entire process from opportunity estimation through to contract negotiation, award, execution and close-out, including post contract management obligations
  • Manage functional input to wider bid activities and contract negotiations advising on technical/pricing risk and contract performance delivery.

About you

  • Experience negotiating and securing complex, medium to large scale contracts in Engineering & Construction
  • Experience of developing and leading successful commercial teams and strategies
  • Experience and understanding of contract structures and varying contract arrangements
  • Senior Project / Operational delivery experience
  • Sound knowledge and working experience of commercial and financial models
  • Experience working in a fast-moving, complex and multi-market environment
  • Experience in Offshore Energy / Aerospace & Defence is desirable
