Harland & Wolff, the iconic shipyard with around 160 years of maritime and offshore engineering pedigree, is set to sound its shipyard siren to mark the beginning of the festive season.
This makes up part of a joint effort with the Titanic Foundation, Maritime Mile and Belfast City Council, on Saturday 14 November at 5:45pm when a number of Belfast landmarks turn on their Christmas lights.
Joining in the festivities, Harland & Wolff will be sounding the siren for two minutes.
Perry Kennedy, Group Managing Director of Harland & Wolff commented, “we are delighted to take part in this year’s festivities. It has been an unusually unkind year for so many and by sounding our shipyard siren, not only can we show our support and solidarity but can also mark the beginning of the festive season.”
