Eoghan Rainey, Head of HSSEQW at Harland & Wolff ran 26.2 miles throughout January for Prostate Cancer UK.
“Prostate cancer is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, killing one man every 45 minutes. That’s one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. I’m raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.” – Eoghan Rainey.
So far, £1,556 has been raised. You can donate here.
Run the Month: Marathon Edition was a virtual challenge for runners everywhere of all abilities. Throughout January, Prostate Cancer UK called on people to run 26.2 miles their own way, whether it was a mile at a time or two half marathons throughout the month.
The money raised will allow Prostate Cancer UK to continue to support men, their wives, partners and families, and to help fund research to stop prostate cancer being a killer.
