Report To: HSE Manager
Job Purpose: Responsible for implementation of the permit to work system at work locations and ensuring compliance
The Role:
- Ensure strict implementation of PTW rules at work location
- Audit the Permit to Work Procedure and ensure compliance on a daily basis
- Provide a quality check on the completion of permits and certificates and ensuring all the necessary signatures have been obtained and informing the of any potential conflicts
- Taking a lead role in ensuring the SIMOPs is not compromised by the issue of conflicting permits
- Ensure that PTW updates/changes are effectively communicated to all relevant personnel
- Ensure a PTW tracking system is in place. Keep track of valid work permits and ensure closure of work permits on completion of work. Ensure expired work permits are closed, cancelled or renewed
About You:
- Technical Member of IOSH (Tech IOSH) or working towards
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Working Knowledge of Environmental legislation and practices
- Previous experience working with permits or in a construction/marine environment
