Job Purpose: This person will drive the HR system and process improvement agenda to enable greater efficiency, improved service and support the significant growth agenda at Harland & Wolff.
This includes the initial development of our EPR, future upgrades, ongoing development and ownership of the HR landscape ensuring existing and investments are fully leveraged.
The Role
- Lead on the ongoing development of the HR IT landscape
- Develop and own process documentation including but not limited to process maps, standard operating procedures, training documents
- Make strong relationships with key stakeholders across HR to understand requirements and develop a systems and development IT roadmap to enable the best possible use of IT in the delivery of HR Services
- Establish strong relationships with key IT stakeholders to ensure development of IT systems are planned and developed in line with the wider IT strategy and roadmap
- Identify improvement areas across the HR offer improved processes, IT systems behaviours, outcomes can be achieved developing projects to scope, build and deliver continuous improvements
- To own the master data management for core HR systems (ie IFS) ensuring regular audits of data quality and compliance working with HR leads across HR to continuously improve and close any gaps
About you
- Experience in HR systems management, process improvement, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of HRIS and HR-related software.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent project management and change management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in HR or process improvement (e.g., SHRM-CP, Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
