Job Summary: To develop and maintain an effective service to all Business Units in the Company.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Read and interpret electrical and electronical circuit diagrams and schematics
- Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace defective components in motors, generators, controllers, switchboards and varied electrical fixtures including DC systems
- Install and maintain electrical, electromechanical and electronic parts of machinery and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on plant and shop electrical systems and equipment
- Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the relevant electrical safety standards and regulations
Essential:
- Time served electrician with industrial/maintenance experience
- 17th/18th Edition
- Extensive knowledge of fault finding
- Extensive experience of working on DC systems
- Knowledge of electrical legislation and understanding of RAMS/SSOW/Permits/LOTO
Desirable:
- Use of MEWP training
- Working at Height training
- Confined Space training
